People have different views on how much they want to be seen and heard in social media and on the world wide web.
This is totally fine.
Since some activities in class require posting or sharing on Facebook, viber, YouTube and Linked In, the following are acceptable work-arounds:
- Create a 2nd account for your mail, or Facebook that you will use only for this class. Who says you can only have 1 account?
- Your 2nd account need not show your real name and/or picture but it should allow the class to link this to you easily. For instance, if your real name is Tomas Cruz, you can name your 2nd account as Top Gun or Tom Cruise and your 2nd email as topgun.v88@gmail.com (used to upload to YouTube or Linked In)
- While it is not recommended, you can also set all your class submissions to UNLISTED. This means that only people with your link can find your submission. It is not recommended to use the PRIVATE setting as this greatly reduces access to your files. Unfortunately, this may also prevent the professor from accessing your work.
