In response to student feedback clamoring more time alloted for local, relevant applications, the COSLA format (Chapter Overview Synthesis and Local Application) has been upgraded to do the reverse: Local Application of Marketing Concept.

The reverse of the sequence emphasizes a key point in this outcome based education (OBE) activitiy. The more important thing is to find the local applications discussed in relation to the marketing concepts which support the rationale for the applications.

Here is a definitive explanation of the required format and mandatory elements of a LAMC report (mp4 format). Unlike before, when the video had to be made from a powerpoint with narration base, students are now allowed to use other formats to create the video, so long as the mandatories are delivered. The rubric used for grading the report will add another level of clarity as to what is expected of the students.
