Blogging is easy.
But making an awesome blog requires creativity, effort and the correct understanding of what elements should be in the blog.
Elements of An Awesome Blog
- Easy to remember and type url link that is identifiable to you, your company, product, service or benefit that you offer, It is not necessary to purchase a customized name; just be creative to test which free name works best for you. Of course free means that there is “wordpress” as part of the site url or link.
- Site Name, logo and tagline that are unique, relevant to your target market (ex. TransFORMe, Start and End with Service plus my personal brand logo)
- Cover Photo that enhances the look of the page (not distracts). Color should blend well with the over-all site look
- Link to Other On-Line Plaftorms such as (listed in order of highest priority): YouTube Channel, Linked In, Company or Product Page, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest. * (can be a minimum of 3 plaftorms. Pls. check with coach)
- Multiple Tabs (at least 3 tabs, one of which is About You or Contact Us0
- Search icon that allows visitors to search within the blog for keywords
- Sidebar (can be on left or right) where all or most of your blogposts can be easily accessed
- Blogposts that contain an embedded video (from youtube) and/or slideshare presentation and/or picture. It is not necessarytthat you created the video, slide or picture. What is important is that the embed adds value and is relevant to the blogpost and to the whole blog. * (can be a minimum of 5 posts. Pls. check with coach)
- Link that has a featured image when shared in other on-line platforms like viber, messenger or facebook
- Over-all appearance that is clean, visually appealing and user-friendly
