In the past week alone, I attended 3 seminars on the subject matter: a whole day face to face seminar for Educators at Asian Institute of Management (Demystifying Chat GPT: Bridging the AI Knowledge Gap for Educators) and a 30 minute webinar by Boston Consulting Group on Linked in: BCG. Competing in the Age of Generative AI. Stand Out or Stand Aside. The third webinar was on Application and Ethics of AI Solutions for Christian Writers and Publishers.

That was the learning, here was the applying in my real world of academe and business…

Prepping for my v98 Marketing Management class (yes, it is my 98th class!), I applied what I was learning by checking industry market sizes using Chat GPT 4. A day after the class, I attempted a 5th time and made a video recording of how Chat GPT used the previous query and looked through “reliable” databases of statista.com, linkedin (?), mordorintelligence. At the latter part of the video, I surveyed the links of the previously supplied answers and they were indeed based on reliable sources I would have found using the traditional google search…. And to cap this story. In 1 hour, I confirmed using a class survey that you dont need Chat GPT to access the benefits. I was able to gather 7 responses from a class of 24 students in less than 1 hour. Here is a screenshot…What are your takeaways?
