LinkedIn is the best business platform where opportunities can find you. Think of it as Facebook or Instagram, but for business and career growth. In this video, I walk you through 10 practical fixes to optimize your LinkedIn profile in 2026 so you can attract employers, recruiters, clients, and partners.

  1. Shift your mindset: LinkedIn is a live landing page, not a static resume.
  2. Complete your profile and actively engage to increase opportunities.
  3. Upgrade your profile photo and banner (your “visual handshake”).
  4. Write an SEO-friendly headline using: “I help ____ achieve ____” + keywords.
  5. Customize your LinkedIn URL (remove random letters and numbers).
  6. Keep your public profile settings ON so you’re searchable 24/7.
  7. Write a first-person About that shows what you do, what you solved, and proof of results.
  8. Upgrade your Experience: don’t list duties, list impact with metrics (be specific, be terrific).
  9. Build Recommendations (social proof). Ask for them and give authentic ones too.
  10. Post smart: use short-form video under 90 seconds, hook viewers in the first 3 seconds, add captions, upload natively, and engage in the first 60 minutes.
